Pray For Orlando

Hello.
Today's blog post is about the terrible tragedy that happened in Orlando earlier today.

As a LGBT+ person myself I need to talk about this. We all need to talk about this. Politicians, the Government, families, senator's, allies, congress, young people, old people and everyone   in-between this is an event that needs to be spoken about. Everyone needs to know that this can't continue this has to stop and it has to stop now. We need to teach everyone especially the younger generation, that homophobia is a horrible thing and that we cannot have it in our society any longer and we will not tolerate it.

Tonight in Orlando a shooter opened fire on innocent civilians in the Pulse gay nightclub, over 20 have been reported to have been killed and over 40 have been injured. All of these victims were just innocent people on a night out. They were innocent. They didn't ask to be shot or expect this. All these people wanted was a night out in an environment where they felt like they fitted in but instead they ended up in a situation where they were scared for their lives.

This can't go on. Innocent people cannot keep being killed for just being themselves. People should not be dying for loving a certain gender. This has to end. And it has to end today.  LGBT+ are constantly under attack and it's just wrong and it has to stop. All they. We, are doing is falling in love with someone or just being ourselves or expressing who we are. There is NOTHING wrong with being LGBT+ and there is NOTHING wrong with loving someone of the same gender. Love is just that, love. We can't help who we are just as much people can't help the colour of their skin, we are born this way.

I myself are proud of being LGBT+. That is a statement for me, that will never change.

The flag, our flag is representative of peace and love, not hate and death. Our flag must continue to show our love and the love we have for the victims of this violent attack on our people. So we must fly our flags high and with great pride to show our union against hate.

LGBT+ people should feel safe no matter where they are if it's in the street, in our own homes, in a nightclub or anywhere in the world.

June is pride month. We should be celebrating LGBT+ people, not mourning them.
We should be celebrating differences, not being oppressed into being 'normal'.

For her.

Hello.
Today's blog post is for the most incredible women in my life. For her.

There is this girl, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I mentioned her in my previous blog post and she's probably going to be mentioned in a lot more.
This girl is the light of my life she's the reason why I get out of bed on a morning and face the world even when I have a million reasons to crawl into a ball and cry she's my reason to smile.
She has helped me through so so so much and I am so very grateful that's she's stuck around for as long as she has because I'm not the best person ever and I will never claim to be but I know I annoy her a lot and make her angry but she knows I love her a lot no matter what I might say.
This girl means the complete world to me she's always there for me through the good days and the bad ones and she constantly checks makes sure that I'm doing okay and that means so much to me just showing that she cares.
She takes care of me when I'm sad and wipes away my tears, she tells me stories of our future together, she holds me and tells me it's going to be okay until I feel better but continues to hold me and I'm glad she does because the only place I feel safe is her arms.
She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life.
Her smile brightens up my whole day every time I see it. It is honestly the most adorable thing I have ever come across. Her little face is so beautiful her entire face lights up when she talks about something that she loves and I think that is the most beautiful thing ever. All of her mind, body and personality is just perfect to me she is just the most amazing human being that has ever been brought on to planet earth.
This is the girl I intend on spending the rest of my life with.
She's the only girl I want beside me while I adventure into the big world.
She's the girl who I want to cuddle in with every Sunday morning.
She's the girl I want to see my future with, the future that I never thought I'd have until she came along.
She's the girl I want to travel around the planet with.
She is the girl I want to say 'I do' too.
She is the girl I am in love with.
Being friends and dating this girl is by far the best decision I have ever ever made.
Somehow she stumbled into my life and it's never been the same since.
This is for her the best girlfriend in the entire history of space and time.

I love you baby.

Misconceptions

Hello.
Today's blog post is titled misconceptions, it will abolish some common misconceptions of why people are gay.

Why am I gay?

Why do I fall in love with girls instead of boys?
Why don't I see my future with a guy?
Why do I want to marry someone of the same sex?

Was it my parents fault?
Was it because I struggled to get a boyfriend?
Was it because I want to rebel?
Was it because no boys wanted me?
Was it because I wanted attention?
Was it because I grew up without a significant male role model?

Did my family not love me enough?
Did a guy hurt me too much?
Did I just decide this one day?

Is it just a phase?

Would you like to know why?

I am gay because this is the way I was born.
This was not a choice.
I like girls because that is who I am.
We are all born the way we are there is nothing that will change me liking girls instead of boys. My sexuality does not depend upon any other factor in my life apart from the way I was born.
Unfortunately I was born into a world where people ask these stupid questions.
Unfortunately I was born into a world with homophobia.
A world where people who aren't straight get treated differently and discriminated against because of the gender of the we fall in love with.
Is this going to stop me being loud and proud about my sexuality?
Is it hell.
I will be who I am no matter what anyone else says or thinks.
I will walk around holding the hand of my girlfriend and kissing the love of my life because that's exactly who she is, the love of my life just because we're two girls does not mean our love is any less adequate.
Love is love no matter gender or sexual orientation.
I am gay because that is the way I was born not because I was hurt or I wasn't loved enough or because I'm rebelling .
I was born this way and this is the way I will be.

I'm back

Hello, I am very sorry that I have been away for such a long time there has been a lot going on in my life. I hope that you understand. Generations

Hello.

Todays blog post entitled generations is about just that the older generation and the younger generation. I'm not talking about everyone in these generations just a certain percent and I also don't speak for everyone this is just what I personally think.

Recently I know of people who have been knocking this generation down saying that we are good for nothing stupid youths who spend too much time on their phones but I personally love being a part of this generation, we have realised this world is messed up, but there something else that is messed up, it seems that we are the only generation who cares, the only one saying something about how messed up this world is, who is rebelling, who is standing up for what they believe in.

We are the generation that found our voices and are using them to change the world, we need to keep using them because the older generations are not happy that we as the younger generation, don't do what they expect us to do which is to keep quiet and let them control us, so they pick at us because we have have a plan to change the world and it's working, maybe slowly, but it's still working and they are highly annoyed about it changing but let them be highly annoyed because this world needs someone to speak out for it and we are it's voice.

Us as a generation have came and are coming so far this generation is pushing the boundary lines of society, we are rebelling against what people call a "normal" society which in fact is wrong, nothing is "normal", they have just come a custom to it but we refuse to see it like that, we fight against it, we march, we protest, we wont give up until we get what this world deserves which is better it deserves better this is the reason we are here to make noise, to scream, to argue, to rebel. We need to stand up and be counted for we are not going to let them get away with this. The people of this planet need to realise that this changing society isn't "wrong" it may be not what they grew up with, but things change, I started my life growing up with the society they deem "good" and "proper" too but I and this generation knew that the "ideal" society they had created was wrong. We know that persecuting, penalising, punishing people is wrong.

People of the world I urge you to join our fight against the corrupt systems that seem to run our lives telling us the "right" to think which in fact is wrong and join our fight for equality across the world.

Coming out

Hello.
As you can probably tell todays blog post is going to be about coming out or smashing out of the closet. I'm going to try and help you and give you advice if I can.

If you don't feel safe or ready coming out to your family or friends or whoever what ever coming out means to you bisexual, pansexual, queer, asexual, gay, lesbian or anything else but coming out isn't just about sexual orientation genderqueer, transsexual, biromantic, intersex or anything else then you don't have to if you don't want to also it doesn't have to be a big thing but it can be a big thing if you want it to that's fine but remember coming out is a process you don't come out just once and that's it you have to come out to everyone you meet and some of these people may not be as understanding as others but do not let these people opinions stop you from being you never let others opinions stop you from being who you are. There is no right way to come out you could use text or a phone call maybe a letter to the people who you want to know you don't have tell everyone unless you want to but you don't have to come out like that you could just introduce your girlfriend/boyfriend/them if this is about your sexual orientation. Remember coming out is different for everyone because no two people are the same it maybe easy for others it maybe hard you may find out that you should have waited or maybe you should have done it sooner. Coming out isn't all or nothing you don't have to tell everyone in your life if you don't feel safe an enough an example of this maybe coming out to your friends but not your family or some of your family and not your work colleges. This can be a process you might be not be completely figured out yet which is okay you maybe think you are gay but not completely sure you can tell people you prefer queer if this is what you are coming out with, Coming could be risky people in this world are not as accepting as they should be they could be offensive they may hurt you physically or if its the people you live with they may throw you out or your boss may fire you for coming out all of these isn't right but these people aren't accepting but we are slowly changing this don't worry we will get there eventually. But remember coming out is a personal choice telling everyone or just friends or not telling anyone or maybe just not your parents its your choice about who you come out to. Be confident in who you are come out when the time is ready and when your ready and when your safe this is all you choice don't forget that also that I love you no matter what.

Believe in you

Hello.
Todays blog post is about believing in yourself and that I believe in you.

At times of hardship it can be so difficult to believe in your self but you can do what ever makes you happy whatever it maybe this is your life it's for you to control it for you to live you may never get another opportunity to do it I'm doing what makes me happy with writing this blog because what I write could be helping some of you guys and that is what I believe I was put on this earth to do is help people and fight for equality for you guys you may believe that you are here for other reasons but everyone is here for a reason and that reason matters you matter. Believe in your self no matter what it is a test, a blog post, a YouTube video anything if something goes wrong after believe in yourself don't think that believing in yourself was the reason sometimes we just make mistakes we are all human we are all imperfect there has never been one person that hasn't made a mistake but what matters is how you overcome that mistake believe in yourself after these mistakes, if there is an apology needed then apologise it shows that you know what you did was a mistake and that you are the bigger person and try it again if you can it shows perseverance and that you didn't mean to do whatever mistake you made on purpose. There is a lot of great things that come from believing in yourself you build your confidence most of the time your work improves because your not scared about what you write down on that piece of paper. I hope this post helps you believe in yourself and I believe in you.

Our lives

Hello.

Todays blog post is about the way we live our lives and that we should be in control of our own lives.

Probably like a lot of you I have struggled in my life today I'm not afraid to admit that at one point I was but going through these struggles have made me a stronger person and recently there is a lot that I am realizing from going through these struggles.
I know now that I will not be controlled by the people around my I can only control my self.
I'm sick and tired of being pushed down and ignored by the people in my life the people who are supposed to be there for me some seem to me like they don't care but I know that I shouldn't depend on these people yes its nice to have people around me that care and support me but the person I can depend on is me.
I will be who I want to be no matter what people say.
I will no longer fear judgement on my actions I will do what makes me happy whatever that may be and if what I chose to do annoys others well tough because I am doing what makes me happy for me not for them this is MY life other people will no longer be in control of me and my life.
I am taking back the rains of me and my life at full force there is no way ever anyone else is ever getting them back.
After realising this I am stronger than ever. I hope with the whole of my heart that you guys come to realise this too because when you do you know about it when you do realise this you will feel so powerful and this feeling never goes away your in charge of yourself please remember that.
I hope this post helps.

Who you are

Hello.

Todays blog post is about you are you and nobody can ever change that.

In the past couple of weeks I'm coming to realise a lot of things but there is one main thing I want to share with you is that you are who are you are.
You are you there is never going to be anyone like you please accept yourself the way you are, your imperfections are the things that make up you. Everyone I'm telling you everyone has parts about themselves they don't like even hate these are your imperfections these things are specific to you but you need to embrace these.
People will point them out they are trying to make you think ugly or hideous but take it from me nobody is those things especially not you but the people who undermine you are trying to take over you these people feed from your insecurities they try to lower your self confidence so you retreat back to them over and over again when you do this they know they have you under there control
DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TAKE OVER YOU.
If these people have taken over who you are you can take yourself back you can support yourself these people cannot control you if you don't let them if you think of your self as beautiful, smart and so many other positive things this is you re-building your confidence this is not you being conceited. People don't have to like you and its okay if they don't but what isn't okay is people putting you down and trying to control you because they don't like you or any reason.
You are allowed to cut these people off your allowed to cut off the people who don't make you happy, who don't support you no matter what, who control you and who don't make you feel at ease around them.
Don't be the person someone else wants you to be, you are not who someone else thinks you are, you are greater than there opinions. Be true to yourself.
If there is something you have been putting off or holding back from doing because your scared of what people will think I want you to do it you never know where that opportunity may take you, you can't pass up any opportunity just because your scared of what others think the only opinion that matter is your own.
You are strong believe in yourself I believe in you I love you.

Be the person you have always aspired to be. Be you.
